Everfire Honey

Everfire honey is a dwarven hot honey, spiced with crushed pepper. The party found jars of it in a communal kitchen in the sealed Underforge Vaults beneath Argentum on the Vigil of Remembrance, 1714 PSF.¹

Description

The honey in the kitchen was thick, dark amber and cloudy, with crystallization patterns and flecks of crushed pepper in it. One of the jars still had a legible paper label reading “Everfire honey”.¹ Its heat had dulled a little over time, but it was surprisingly good, well made and very well preserved.¹

A recipe card in the same kitchen describes how to make it, with dried pepper and a preserving process.¹

History

Session 12

Hazel found the jars. She saw no sign that the honey had gone bad, but would not eat it.¹ Luma tasted it anyway, came up behind Hazel with a finger in the open jar, and told her it was really good.¹ Iva tried it after Luma.¹
