Rock bread is a dwarven hardtack. The party found a recipe for it and a store of it in a communal kitchen in the sealed Underforge Vaults beneath Argentum on the Vigil of Remembrance, 1714 PSF.1
Description
The recipe, on one of a box of Dwarvish recipe cards in the kitchen, is an incredibly basic one.1 The bread itself comes in rock-hard sheets, and the kitchen kept it in wooden boxes with sliding lids.1 “Yo, they ate rocks down here,” said Luma, before deciding it was just very hard bread.1
Hardtack lasts about a hundred years, and perhaps another hundred in perfect conditions.1

Iva found the boxes in a cabinet in the kitchen. Some sheets were full of weevil holes, but none were moldy, and the bread was still edible, with some nutritional value left.1 Hazel and Luma judged it no more than a couple of hundred years old. Luma had been told the vaults were sealed more than five hundred years ago. “Somebody is lying to us and I don’t trust this bread,” she said.1
