The Cathedral of the Silver Flame, also called the Chapel of the Silver Flame, stands at the heart of Argentum in the Lantern Wards.1 It is the seat of the ruling Synod of the Silver Flame and holds the city’s most vital archives.
Description
The cathedral is massive, beautiful and almost gothic. Its southernmost part is a large tower with huge stained glass windows. The central glass of each is clear rather than stained, and it lets through a silver light that the party took to be the light of the Silver Flame itself.1
On the north side of the cathedral is a big open plaza with grass, trees and a good-sized pond. Near the pond stands a silver or platinum statue of a dragon, presumably Bahamut, about forty feet from nose to tail with a wingspan of about forty feet, the largest dragon statue any of the party had seen.1
The Silver Archives stand beside the cathedral, and the headquarters of the Order of the Lantern nearby.1

Session 8
Rhysaene dreamed of looking down on the cathedral from above as silver light poured through its stained glass. The light went out, and the cathedral exploded in a flash of white that woke her. She has never been inside it, and in recent years has felt that going would be a terrible idea.2
Session 9
Hazel dreamed of a giant tree growing in the middle of the city where the chapel should be.1 The next morning the party passed the cathedral on the way to the Hall of the Anvil, and Temerity kept stopping to stare at it.1
Session 13
By Hazel’s count of her steps, the party passed about a mile beneath the chapel on the Vigil of Remembrance, 1714 PSF, following the Syndicate route, and met a stretch of pressure there unlike anything they had felt before.3 None of them had heard of the Silver Flame causing anything like it. The Silver Flame is in the chapel, where anyone can go and see it.3
