The Dancing Sword is an inn and tavern in the Hearth Wall district of Argentum, just past the Swordgate bridge.123 Its owner is Dorian Draken, a retired adventurer.3 Luma went looking for an actual dancing sword there and was disappointed to find none.1
Description
The Dancing Sword is large and lively. A human woman takes orders and tends bar, a couple of servers run the tables, and a small raised stage stands ready for live performances.3 It is nicer than the dive bars of the outer Hearth Wall, but it is not the Sterling Sovereign and does not try to be. Two embers buy a nice ale or a decent wine and a big plate of meat and potatoes or bread.3
It is also an inn, with rooms upstairs, but it has no private dining rooms.4
Dorian runs it as a place where people can hear his tales and enjoy musicians and storytellers free of the high art world’s restrictive sensibilities.3

Session 2
Rhysaene brought the party to the Dancing Sword at about eight in the evening on 24 Coldrise, 1714 PSF, after the Everfire Lamp exploded.1 They drank there and introduced themselves to one another properly for the first time, and the wine was cheap enough that Luma’s tongue went numb.1
Session 9
Rhysaene named the Dancing Sword as a place that might hire Hazel, and Luma remembered that it had been cheap.2
Session 11
The party ate at the Dancing Sword around midday on 30 Coldrise, 1714 PSF, at the table where they had first sat together. A faint, dark red stain still showed where Luma had drawn on it and cleaned it up.3 Dorian was measuring the stage for a musician due that night. He told the party that his sword was a dancing sword, found in the City of Ghosts, and every word drew eye rolls from the other patrons.3
Session 14
The party ate here on the evening of the Vigil of Remembrance, 1714 PSF. It was open but quiet, with a few tables talking quietly and no performers, and the meal and drinks came to about five embers each.4 The next day Luma had a quick lunch here, and at about five she and Hazel met Dalric Ironmark on the busy dinner floor.4 At his insistence they rented room 204 to talk in private, and the rest of the party found them there.4
