The Sterling Timber Yard and Sawmill stands on the Old Road outside Argentum’s North Gate, past the market stalls, with its own docks on the river.1 It sells timber at every stage of processing, and the crest of House Sterling is carved into the sign over the main building.1

The party passed the yard on their way north. Luma’s family used to offload lumber here, though the buildings standing now went up after she stopped coming on the runs. She recognized much of the stock as timber out of Erhadell rather than anything grown locally.1

Mathas Drace finalized a short exploratory contract with the yard for the Drace Logging Company, of only fifty years, the shortest Luma had ever heard of.2
