Thornwatch is one of the five watchtowers that guard the mountain passes into the Silver Vale, standing to the north. A worn route forks north off the Old Road to reach it, crossing the river by a wooden bridge.1

Session 5
Three Light Wardens rode south from Thornwatch with a cart and met the party on the Old Road.1 At the fork, Hazel and Temerity read a week of traffic in the tracks, more of it heading south than north, which Hazel took as a sign of trouble nearer the border.1
